Western Culinary Institute and Piazza Italia Host One of Italy’s Top Chefs


WCI will open its doors to the Portland community for an exclusive opportunity to learn authentic and easy Italian from a top Chef from the Italian Culinary Federation (ICF), Chef Domenico D'Agostino. The ICF is a non-profit organization dedicated to elevating the standards of Italian cuisine in America.

This all inclusive course is designed for beginners, intermediate and advanced culinary enthusiasts and will use hands-on instruction to combine several aspects of Italian baking, food and wine pairing. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.


MENU



  • Learn how to prepare the perfect pasta and sauce using authentic Italian products like Rummo pastas, Sammarzano tomatoes and Formaggio Asagio cheese

  • Create the perfect Risotto using savory ingredients

  • Make an anti pasta platter like a pro with top quality cured meats

  • Pair Prosciutto di Parma with the perfect wine

  • Use legumes to add flavor to your favorite Italian dish

  • Find out why Polenta makes a superb side dish
